Candle Holders

So while wondering through Homsense … yes again, I stumbled upon these cute candle holders!

Now, I wasn’t quite a fan of the finish, but I did see the potential they presented. Not to mention I got them for $3.99 each, regular $10.00 each *dances*

Here are my step-by-step instructions on making something cute…cuter!

Things you Need:

  •  Candle Holder(s)
  • Spray Paint (and perhaps primer spray paint)
  • Painters Tape
  • An area to paint

Plain ol’ candle holders from Homesense! I won’t lie, I didn’t even notice they had elephants within them

Blue painters tape, Red Krylon Spray paint and the candle holder - ready for some DIY

Using your painters tape, tape off the area you would like to remain the same. In this case, the top was perfect

Candle holder top - completely tapped off - ready for painting

Candle Holders standing on a pizza box - first coat of red krylon spray paint

I used a pizza box in my backyard and sprayed till my little heart desired

The finished product, bright red candle holders with clean white candles,on top of the dining room table.

Now look how sharp these babies look!
