DIY Pomander Centre Piece

Warning:

This is a very time consuming project. You will indeed need to utilize all of your friends and family; supplying massive amounts of wine and snacks.  I was so fortunate to have my Mum, my Aunts and Ciocia’s here to help, along with my cousins (bridesmaids), best girl friends, my mother-in-law and Lesia and Julie’s Babcia to help!  This was done over the course of many months… you have been warned 🙂

Step One:

Read this post on how to create a fabric flower *these are what you need to create the pomander*

Step Two:

Gather the troops!
Here are a few snap shots from various nights.

Here are the troops creating all the flowers which are pinned onto an 8″ Styrofoam ball. Because our wedding colours were gold and silver, I chose various textures and types of gold and silver fabric.
