Church Programs

A suitcase full of programs...

A lot of brides are on the fence when it comes to having a program for the wedding ceremony. The expense of printing, the casualness of the ceremony and the amount of guests usually dictate if this is a wedding requirement.

For myself, I felt a program was necessary here’s why:

Tri-fold wedding program

Our ceremony took place in a Catholic Church; marriage outside of mass (no Communion) and a lot of our guests were not Catholic. The Church program helped illustrate the order of the mass and detail what was happening.

The Ceremony
The Program also detailed important people, our parents, grandparents and our bridal party. My mistake was delaying in my music choices, resulting in a program being printed beforehand, sans music and performers listed within it. A big Thank you goes out to my Uncle Peter for helping me choose music, but for also playing the organ at my wedding. My Ciocia Krys and my Ciocia Mary also were and integral part, singing the Responsorial Psalm.

The Bridal Party

Something to read while you wait. Nothing worse than having your guests sit in uncomfortable pews waiting for your arrival. Let’s be honest, we all can be fashionably late in our lives. Our program had two pages of fun and meaningful quotes; this gave our guests something happy and lighthearted to read if said bride and bridesmaids were running behind schedule…

Some of our Favourite quotes... and favourite Fonts

All paper details were printed at Rainbow Printers, with massive amounts of help from Lorraine, Ricky, Sugar Bear, Brandi and Sam!

Hey Jen! Sadly I design as freelancer, currently I am not offering complimentary templates.
However, I can give you dimensions and perhaps a local designer can help you?

Thanks so much for stopping by!

          Hey Tanika, Thanks for visiting!

          The program is 5″x5″, tri-fold.

I used sheets of 12″x18″ natural lynx stock (it’s a nice smooth finish). Your local printer should be able to do the same for you.

          Hope this helps!

Do you have a template I could purchase of your program?

Hey Loretta! Sadly I don’t have this template anymore 🙁 However it’s really easy to create in illustrator. It’s simply 15 inches across by 5 inches tall. it is divided up evenly into three panels that can fold into itself – no bleed. I hope this helps!
